Intentionality and Lifemax

July 9, 2009

Being introduced to Lifemax has been the most exciting new direction we’ve taken this year. Not only does Lifemax have an incredibly valuable product in which we believe, but the support and genuine care for the company that each excecutive member and high performance distributor exhibits, is a sure sign of the ongoing success to be seen as we go forward.

At this time, we would like to say “Thank you” to Nick Lomangino, our immediate upline member, who as a long time colleague of ours as a Traditional Chinese Medicine Specialist, approached us with this new opportunity and clearly outlined all of the advantages that both the product and company offered to him. His refreshingly calm, and no nonsense approach to business was truly appreciated.

Another sincere “Thanks” goes to Chris Prefontaine, the first Diamond Rep of the company, who has done a wonderful job answering all of our tough questions about both the product and company. We enjoyed his informative webinars, his three way conference calls and also his direct person to person seminar which he was able to graciously deliver after driving to the GTA all the way from Rhode Island. Chris’ ability to provide all of the details, to relay his personal message, and to share all of his positive energy, was more than impressive and we look forward to gaining further guidance and inspiration from him.

We’d like to give our final and equally important expression of gratitude to our first downline member, Dalton Ballantine. Dalton has been a long time associate who brings to the table a vast array of talents - we look forward to seeing him shine as he steadily expands his own business, while growing as a person in such a new and exciting way!

At this very start of our exciting journey with Lifemax, we’d like to talk a little about the powerful idea of INTENTIONALITY. Having clear intentions of where we want to go is the true key to achieving our goals. Do you have a clear vision of your ideal and do you appreciate the power of visualization?

Life presents us with small and large challenges on a daily basis and those who succeed, can break through all barriers presented to them only if they have a clear vision of what they desire.

“All I know,” said Arnold Schwarzenegger, “is that the first step is to create the vision, because when you see the vision there—the beautiful vision—that creates the ‘want power.’ For example, my wanting to be Mr. Universe came about because I saw myself so clearly, being up there on
stage and winning.”

Where do you see yourself in 6 months... or in one year? Look at your upline members, listen to the stories of those around you, be inspired by people who are achievers, formulate your vision now and keep that vision very clear throughout each and every day that passes by. Wake up each morning with the question “What will I do today to ensure that I reach my vision?” The power of INTENTIONALITY is your most important tool in propelling you to new heights of success!

If you have not addressed the issue of fear yet, it is time to confront this demon NOW. To ensoure that we reach our goals we must shed of our fears of failure and push ourselves forward without any type of fear blocking our way.

“Ultimately, fear of failure generates a vicious circle that creates what is most feared. To break this cycle, you need to make peace with failure. It isn’t enough to merely tolerate it; you need to appreciate the failure and use it... Body mind masters have made peace with failure, treating it like an old friend playing a practical joke. The greatest inventors, artists, and athletes have all failed many times. Babe Ruth was the home run king of his time, but also the strikeout king.” ~ Dan Millman from Body Mind Mastery

In the popular Nike commercial, Michael Jordan, one of the greatest athletes ever shares this strong message about failure: “I’ve missed more than nine thousand shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”

All of the very successful people we’ve met and read about, have has less fear than most people. They know the importance of failing before succeeding and their lack of fear has enabled them to “go for it”.

As David Viscott puts it: “In the end, the only people who fail are those who don’t try.” - this is truly what we believe - there would be nothing worse than spending the last moments of your life knowing that you didn’t even try!

In summary, we’d like to declare three important affirmations with you:

We are grateful for the opportunity to grow with Lifemax and look forward to this exciting journey.

We have a clear VISION of what we want to achieve in 6 months and in a one year period.

To the best of our abilities, we will put all fears aside as we enjoy helping others do the same.

Until the next post, we’ll leave you with this famous quote:

“This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being a force of nature instead of a feverish selfish clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy. I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can.
I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work, the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no ‘brief candle’ to me. It is sort of a splendid torch which I have a hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it over to future generations.” ~ George Bernard Shaw
